If you want modules on CDMA network (Verizon or Sprint), your options are 1xRTT modules or EVDO modules. You may want to go with either Sprint approved modules or Verizon approved modules, because that will expedite your device certification on their networks. 1xRTT modules will be cheaper, but their typical speed is 60-80 kbps. EVDO modules will be comparitively more expensive, but you get can speeds of about 600-800 kbps.
